Why the server asks for it
Many Discord servers ask new members to confirm themselves before they can write. It keeps out throwaway accounts and the scripts that run on them, so the people already there do not spend their evening cleaning up spam. This page is where that check happens for servers running ITS-Comm.
What is used, and what is not
The check uses the server that invited you, the Discord account you sign in with, and a one-time human confirmation. We do not read your messages or see which other servers you are in. Your verification details are not shared with advertisers. Only if you allow advertising in cookie settings can Adsterra receive technical connection data for the banner at the bottom of this page, such as your IP address, browser and device information, the page requested, and the time. The confirmation runs through Cloudflare Turnstile, which works without tracking cookies.
What happens afterwards
Once the check passes, the bot assigns the role the server owner chose, usually within a few seconds. You can close this page and go back to Discord. If the role does not turn up, the server owner can start the check again from the dashboard, and nothing you did here is lost.
