A monthly contribution that carries the whole house: the Discord bot, the website and the games. Not an investment, no repayment, cancel any time.

What Patron is, and what it is not

Patron is a subscription with benefits: you pay monthly, you get perks, you can cancel any time. It is explicitly not an investment. There is no repayment, no interest and no share in the company.

To be completely clear: a Patron contribution does not come back to you. If you are looking for a financial return, this is the wrong place. If you want the projects to keep running and to get something for it, this is the right one.

The names stay in English so they are the same in every language. Each tier includes everything from the one below.

Spark

Torch

Full access included
  • Everything from Spark
  • Full access to every premium feature of ITS-Comm for as long as you are a Patron
  • One vote on the roadmap
  • Badge in its own colour
  • A standing discount in the shop

Beacon

€25.00/month

  • Everything from Torch
  • Three votes, and the poll also decides which project comes next
  • Your own card on this page
  • Beta access to new modules and playtests
  • One small wish per quarter from a fixed list

Lodestar

€60.00/month

  • Everything from Beacon
  • One personal piece of artwork per year
  • Credit in /credits, in the website footer and in the games
  • A direct thread to the owner

How to become a Patron

Four steps, and none of them is hidden.

  1. Pick a tier

    Every tier includes everything from the one below. You can switch later at any time, up or down.

  2. Check out from the cart

    The button on the tier puts it in your cart. At checkout you see the total before you order and choose how to pay.

  3. Connect Discord

    For the role and the channel to reach you, your Discord account has to be connected to the website. That happens when you sign in, nothing extra to do.

  4. Within ten minutes

    Role, badge and channel access arrive on their own. The bot checks every ten minutes, which is why it can take that long.

You can cancel any time in your account, with no reason given and no questions asked. The benefits run until the end of the period you paid for.

How we say thank you

Thanks is not a side effect. It is the reason someone is still here in month two.

Visible

Badge on your profile, role in Discord, your own colour from Torch upwards.

Monthly

A post in the Patron channel welcoming new Patrons, together with the updated transparency page.

On anniversaries

A badge after six months, one year, two years.

Personal

A real message when you join and on your anniversary. Not automated, because an obviously automatic message is worse than none.

Everyone with a running patronage appears here. The order follows how long someone has been with us, not how much they pay.

Nobody here yet. That is not a judgement, it is the beginning.

The small print, in plain words

You have a 14 day right of withdrawal from the conclusion of the contract. If the service starts immediately at your request, you owe proportionate compensation for the period used if you withdraw. Your right of withdrawal remains in place.

You can cancel at any time. The benefits continue until the end of the period you paid for.

Your name and profile picture appear here as part of the tier. No picture on your profile means no picture here, so that stays in your hands.

We may change benefits where that is reasonable for you. If a substantial benefit falls away permanently, you can cancel with immediate effect and get a proportionate refund.

Section 19 of the German VAT Act applies: we do not show VAT.
