An economy is not a toy, it is a reason to come back.

What this is for
Whoever can collect something daily drops by daily, and whoever owns a currency has a reason to care about the server even when nothing is going on. The mistake many servers make: money is abundant and nobody knows what for. Then it is worthless. It only gets interesting when earning takes effort and spending gets you something: a role, a ticket in a draw, a place on the leaderboard.
What it looks like day to day
Day to day every member collects their daily bonus, works through the jobs panel, transfers something to someone else or checks the leaderboard, all through buttons, without memorising commands. You decide how large the daily bonus is, how long the cooldown lasts and what the panel looks like. The currency is shared with the two built-in games: whoever earns in the factory tycoon or sells fish in MOONLINE pays into the same wallet. That is deliberate: two separate currencies would have cost half the appeal.

What to watch out for
The thing that surprises people first: the wallet hangs on the Discord account, not on the server. Anyone who earns on another server running the same bot brings their balance along. That is why the leaderboard only lists people who were active here recently. Their amounts come from everywhere. Keep the sources modest: messages, voice minutes, reactions and commands each pay out on their own, each with its own cooldown, and the boosters sit on top. Set to stacking, two roles and a channel multiply with each other; otherwise only the highest one counts. Both are fine, you just have to know which is set. With the channel and role lists a wrong mode inverts the meaning: as a block list it stops what is entered, as an allow list it stops everything else. Test that on one channel before you wonder why nobody earns anything. And about the currency symbol: a custom Discord emoji cannot be drawn on the image cards, where a neutral word appears instead. A plain character looks the same everywhere. Finally, a job that demands a role or a level nobody on the server has still shows up in the panel and still cannot be taken. Whoever tries only gets the reason back.
Set up in three steps
- Switch on the “Economy” module and settle the currency symbol. It shows up in every message and on every card later on.
- Enter the channel for the economy panel in the dashboard; the bot places it there by itself, and clearing the field takes it away again.
- Create jobs (name, pay range, cooldown and, if you want, a required role or level), then set the channel for the jobs panel.
- Finally decide the sources: daily bonus, messages, voice minutes, reactions, and exempt the channels where nothing should be earned.
